CLINICAL TRIALS

Overview & Eligibility

We emphasize the continuation and advancement of care. One of the options offered to patients is to enroll in one of our active clinical trials. Enrollment will only be recommended after a thorough diagnosis and evaluation of available options.

We understand that many patients are actively seeking clinical trials as a next-step treatment approach. While we understand the desire to pursue all available options, patients must meet the criteria for eligibility in order to participate. These vary by trial.

MRI/US Fusion Imaging and Biopsy in Combination with Nanoparticle Directed Focal Therapy for Ablation of Prostate Tissue

The prostate is close to several vital structures such as the urethra and neurovascular bundle, whole gland treatments (WGT) for prostate cancer can disrupt normal urinary, bowel, and sexual functioning. We are evaluating targeted photothermal cancer therapy using Gold-silica nanoparticles designed to absorb near-infrared light to provide a new and highly localized ultra focal therapy for prostate cancer, with substantially reduced risks of deleterious treatment-related side effects such and urinary leakage and erectile dysfunction.

MR/TRUS Fusion Guided Prostate Biopsy

An Improved way to detect and quantify prostate cancer. We use the latest advances in MR imaging and fusion biopsy technology to target high risk areas within the prostate to help avoid cancer going missed on a biopsy. The cancer detection rate for patients with a suspicious MRI is 2x than the regular TRUS biopsy.
